THE LONG RIDE HOME (Dir. Randall Wilson)

This film follows the 10-day trek called Run For The Wall where hundreds of motorcyclists, consisting of veterans, supporters, friends and family, hop on their bikes for a ride across the country. They start in California and head on to Washington D.C. to participate in the Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Rally on Memorial Day weekend. Their mission is to bring awareness to POW / MIA issues and provide emotional healing to the veterans and their families who still need it. On their ride across the nation, they make stops along the way and connect with Navajo veterans at Red Rock Park as well as a World War I vet, 104 years young. These former soldiers all carry the same burden, regardless of their race, age, or length of service. The sacrifices that they made for this country remain with them for the rest of their lives.
